Feb 2010 - Midlands MCM Expo - Telford

I had alot more fun this time around. I'm not as enthusiastic in my 'report', but I definitely enjoyed it more. I met up with RhymeBito & cutekittyichigo and caught a lift down with them, which was great.

I'm glad I had a new camera to try out, but most of my pictures aren't going to be put up.
The big choccie cake failed. But the ones that DIDN'T squish on the floor were very tasty. I'm sorry no-one got to taste them. Really. :/!

Wll Dunlop [Phoenix Copper Art www.phoenixcopperart.com]was there, and that was exciting, because I love his work and when I got there he had a lovely pair of cacti waiting for me to take home. <3 Yay presents. I bought one of his journals. It's gorgeous. U.S.S Enterprise on a  backdrop of the opening scene ["Space: The Final Frontier". That bit.]

I was wide awake for the whole thing, which was kind of awkward on the drive home ;)

But yeah, it was lovely and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to anyone that needs thanking.

Sept 2009 - MCM Expo - Telford

Was it freakin' awesome, or what? I didn't cosplay, sadly, but it still made the whole month so much brighter. After all the crap that happened in the weeeks leading up, I thought it wasn't possible to have so much fun, but I was wrong. EPICLY wrong, yet again. So there you have it. Awesome dayz, with awesome peoplez.
I rode up to the actual centre, about an hour and a half drive, with a Zack Fair, a Rock Lee, and a Kakashi Hatake (seen in one of my deviations) but I spent no more than about a half hour with any of them.
Most of my day was spent with one of the most amazing people in the world.
:iconrhymebito:
She made it even more brilliant, if that was possible at all. Her and her group JellyBeanZProduction were awesome, and, of course, they did a performance. I was actually SO glad they used My Sitar in it, that I squeeled. <.< I wish I'd taken more pictures, if I'm honest, but my big memory card packed up just before the convention, so I had to suffer through the whole day with just a 512mb card. TT^TT What torture. I'm glad I saw Fluticasone-Fantasia and FauxPenguin, even just for a minute.
I have bruises on my knees, and my feet feel like they're falling off, but the injuries are worth it when I get to spend time with amazing people, and there were so many GREAT cosplayers there!
:icongadget14: especially. I actually found myself staring in awe at her Len Kagamine cosplay. I think it was the best cosplay in the place. Hands down. And so purty! TT^TT I envy her. I actually wish I'd got some pictures, but alas, I daren't ask. XD Another brill one was :iconfluticasone-fantasia: but he knows how great his Kai was anyway. ;P
And SARAH JANE?! 8D OMGZ. I distinctly remember yelling "OH MAH GAH THE CAR LADY!". Whether she heard me or not, I shall never know, but that was WEIRD! It actually scared me for a moment, as I wondered why on earth someone from an annoying advert was here. Then I remembered that she was actually a CBEEBIES presenter aswell. ^^; Epic FAIL.
As for the reason behind the bruises on my knees, I shall explain. Did anyone reading this see the Joker guy, and his little posse of clowns? Well, you know the one with the plastic knife and the blue jumpsuit? Well, he followed us, for like a whole five minutes, and oh gosh it was so scary. Eventually he left us alone...or so we thought. As we were in the line to get our hands stamped to head outside into the lobby entrance thing, he jumped out! We screamed so loud, and Leonna (a neko girl) dived on me, and we both fell over. It really hurt, and the man with the stamps was really annoyed, but OMGOSH it was so funny! And scary! TT^TT

July 2009 - LFCC - London

It was so great. Vic and Spike, as expected were great. So funny.
Meeting Vic was even better, and the dinner was wonderful.

Thanks to everyone. I loved every minute of it, even the lines, and the confusion about the talk tickets for Vic.

Wish I could go back. :/
